My journey with CrossFit started in 2007 in a small and empty gym in Oklahoma City. After attempting the CrossFit workouts alone, it didn’t take long for me to become addicted to the style and intensity of the workouts. I had been in every sport my schools offered throughout my whole life, but this was different: this was a new physical challenge every day using movements I had never done before. I got married and moved to Rochester then began CrossFitting with my husband, which added some significant competition and intensity to our workouts. Looking to share what we were learning with others, we started inviting friends to CrossFit with us at local gyms in Rochester. It didn’t take long before this turned into coaching, so we bought some equipment and opened up the garage at our house for 100% CrossFit training all day every day– some time later CrossFit Credence was born! Nearly every member of our gym is now finding that not only are they reaching their goals and having fun, but they are also able to enjoy life as they’ve always wanted to, because CrossFit has been proven to make you better at just about everything. I love every day that God has given me to coach our members and to be coached as the athlete I’ve always wanted to be.
